Millennium Frame

So like many stitchers out there I have fallen in love with the idea of having a millennium frame to start my great cross stitching adventures with. Even with all the warnings on how long the wait is I decided to make my purchase.

The Millennium Frame is hand made and shipped from a company in England called Needle Needs. Many people have said their orders took 3 months to 6 months to be fulfilled. So i was dreading the long wait. Regardless I placed my order for the 36" bars and the 8"-10" stretchers on 04/16/16 and crossed my fingers. I sent them a query e-mail asking how long the wait was until my order would take out of curiosity. They didn't respond to my e-mail til a month later saying what their website says that it takes 8 to 12 weeks.

After reading from one person they got their order in three weeks from constantly calling the company I decided to try it out. Now calling the UK from my cell sounded like it was going to be pricey. So I found this neat little app called WePhone that even gave a free credit of 60 cents (not a bad deal) and I bought a dollar credit just in case.

I decided to make a second order for additional bars (a 24" and 12") for future projects on 05/2/2016. I don't really care when these will arrive since the project I chose needs the 36" bars (more on that on a later post).

After a month of waiting on my first order I decided to place my first call to the UK on 05/13/16. I spoke to a lady who told me that i can expect my order to ship out in 2 to 3 weeks. She seemed very nice about it and changed the status of my order to processing. So being the impatient person I am I decided to call the next week on 05/23/2016. I spoke to a gentleman this time and he said my order should ship out in the next few days. Wasn't the original estimate but I wasn't complaining. Another week went by and still no e-mail of it being shipped. I then decided to call again on 05/31/16 after the holiday. I spoke to the same gentleman again and he said it should ship out by the end of the week.

I made a third order for my friend as a Birthday/Christmas gift on 06/1/16, being that her birthday is in November I figured it should have plenty of time getting here and i don't need to bug them about it. I also got an e-mail the same day saying that the order I placed in the beginning of May for my additional bars was being processed without asking them about it.

That's where I stand for now... I'll make another update next week on if they decided to finally ship my frame or if i have to call them again. I've only used 20 cents at this point so I'm still using the free credit WePhone gave with downloading their app :)
